Minnesota Softball Selects is a program that recognizes hard work and leadership on every community team in the state. Each coach can nominate two players for this event.  Information on the selects weekend including the process, the timeline and the schedule of events can be found here. Before parents or coaches’ email, text or call us please review the selects home page. Rosters will be posted on your dashboard.  Click on the team for entire Roster.  Schedules will be posted there too.  There may be slight adjustments depending on if conflicts are found. Coaches, we are always looking for more volunteer coaches.  If you signed up to coach, please go to your dashboard and check under 'My teams' to see if we have you listed yet.  You will be assigned a team.  If you want to coach specific age level and the team you want to coach only has 1 coach assigned please send us an email.  Just state: Age and team you want to coach, your name, contact information, shirt size and the email attached to your account.  I will add you. Each coach can nominate two players for this event. The Process <ul> <li style="font-family: poppins; font-size: 16px;">Coaches nominate two (2) players on their team.  The nomination form will be the coaches dashboard starting on July 1st.</li> <li style="font-family: poppins; font-size: 16px;">Parents have the option to participate in the event. If they do, the cost is $85 per player. If your daughter is nominated and cannot attend the whole weekend, that is a good reason why you should turn down the nomination and let your coach know and have them nominate a different player.</li> <li style="font-family: poppins; font-size: 16px;">After registration closes, teams will be formed based on age and positions played indicated on the parent form.</li> <li style="font-family: poppins; font-size: 16px;">Starting on Monday, July 21st, we will be getting information to Taho Sportswear to process the teams that will be formed and participating.</li> <li style="font-family: poppins; font-size: 16px;">Teams will be posted by Thursday, July 31st. We are trying to create equal teams. The kids are capable of making new friends and will. Parents should not ever call our office. Work through your directors.</li> <li style="font-size: 16px; font-family: poppins;">We create events like this to highlight athletes accomplishments. We don't:  <ul> <li style="font-size: 16px; font-family: poppins;">Base our team formation on carpooling.</li> <li style="font-size: 16px; font-family: poppins;">Base our team formation on friends or current teammates.</li> <li style="font-size: 16px; font-family: poppins;">Base our team formation or scheduling around your players 'other' activities.</li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size: 16px; font-family: poppins;">This is a 3 day event.  If you knew you had conflicts you should have taken this into consideration before accepting this nomination. Please come early to find your team (coordinate a time with your coach).  We will have team numbers lining the fence line for each age group. Players do NOT check in at the desk, only coaches. You will also use the the team number for your team photo.  </li> <li>Friday 6:00PM - Minnesota Softball Select player and coach introductions. Bring your team # sign and line up for your team photo.  This will be done immediately after being introduce in the stadium.   </li> <li>Friday 6:35PM - Welcome message and speeches.</li> <li>Friday 6:45PM - National Anthem. </li> <li style="font-family: poppins; font-size: 16px;">Saturday 8:00AM - Games begin.
